At TCCC, we believe that charity clothing shouldn't cost the earth - or anyone on it. That's we go to huge lengths to ensure that we only work with suppliers that meet our strict ethical trading policies and continually strive to deliver on our Climate Positive promise.
We are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains. Our internal policies are aligned with the recommendations of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and we refuse to work with any factories that show the slightest discrepency within their audits or practices.
Unfortunately, child labour is still very prevelant in the modern supply chain. We are committed to only working with suppliers that can demonstrate all their workers are of legal working age and that all young workers adhere to international standard for acceptable working hours.
We believe that all workers, regardless of where they may be working, are entitled to fair working hours and compensation. We refuse to work with any supplier that does not meet the industry and national legal standards for worker wages, benefits, and working hours.
Beyond fair wages and hours, we are also committed to ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for factory workers. Not only does this mean protecting workers' physical safety and health, but also providing a workplace that's free from discrimination, harrassment and victimisation.
At TCCC, we're dedicated to protecting our shared home. We're continually working to become a more sustainable business by making eco-friendly products more accessible, while also limiting our own impact on the environment.
We know that our clients are also striving to make more sustainable choices, which is why we are continually expanding our line of environmentally-friendly products to enable our clients to make greener choices with their merchandise.
While many organisations are striving to become carbon neutral, we've gone beyond achieving net zero carbon emissions by removing 110% of our businesses carbon footprint, making us a climate positive company.
We recognise that becoming a true climate leader requires continual effort and evolution. To that end, we've developed a sustainability roadmap and responsibility report, that highlights the direction we need to take to continue our journey to becoming a more sustainable business.
As part of our Climate Positive accreditation from Earthly, we invest in nature-based projects around the world focused on removing carbon, restoring nature, and reversing climate change.
We are a certified Earthly Climate Positive Business, which recognises that we go beyond achieving net zero carbon emissions and create an environmental benefit by removing 110% of our business footprint. We partner with Earthly to invest in three nature based, science-backed projects around the world focused on removing carbon, restoring nature, and helping local communities. Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) is one of the world's leading ethical trade service providers, working to improve working conditions in global supply chains. We hold both a Buyer (A) and Supplier (B) membership to ensure responsible sourcing throughout our supply chain and make it easier for our customers to find the information they need to make informed decisions.
ISO9001 is a series of quality assurance guidelines based on a number of factors, including customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making and relationship management. We've worked hard to ensure that we meet the highest work practice standards and are fully ISO9001 Certified.
We’ve removed the equivalent of 110% of the total CO2 emissions we generate in freighting goods. To do this, we partnered with Earthly to calculate our transport emissions for the last year. Our annual transport-based carbon emissions were equal to 294 tonnes across 1,628 shipments.

Use an eco-friendly detergent – Shopping tip: Look for products that are phosphate-free, cruelty-free, are easy to measure, biodegradable and packaged in recyclable bottles made from recycled plastic, or are plastic free.
Avoid tumble drying – by hang drying your cotton garments they will be less likely to crease in the process.
Avoid ironing, or if needed, do so on a low heat.
Invest in a guppy bag – these catch any microplastics released in washing that would end up in our water systems. These are particularly good if your garment contains any synthetic fibres.

Avoid tumble drying – our moister wicking fabric is designed to dry quickly without the need of a tumble drier.
Do not iron – our fabric is crease resistant so there is no need to give it an iron.
